At the age of eight, Fleming hopped on a freight train to Chicago to escape his abusive father. Following hospitalization for gang fight injuries, he returned to California where he lived with his mother and worked at Paramount as a laborer. Fleming joined the Merchant Marine, and then he served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific in WW II, where he was a Master Carpenter in the Seabees.
From 1946 to 1957, Fleming appeared on stage in Chicago and New York with featured roles in numerous plays on Broadway including "My Three Angels," "Stalag 17," and "No Time For Sergeants." Fleming's television career began in the early 1950's with live performances on "Hallmark Summer Theatre," "The Web," "Suspense," "Kraft Television Theatre," and many other dramatic series. In 1954, he starred in Paramount's film "Conquest of Space," followed by "Queen of Outer Space" for Allied Artists. In 1958, Fleming became the star of CBS-TV's long-running western "Rawhide" as the trail boss Gil Favor. He remained with the top-rated show for seven of its eight seasons, and he had planned to retire to Hawaii where he had purchased a ranch.
He acted in "The Glass Bottom Boat" in 1965, and he was hired by MGM-TV to film the two-part adventure program "High Jungle" in Peru. During the shooting of location shots on the Huallaga River on September 28, 1966, Fleming dove (intentionally?) from a dug-out canoe after paddling it beyond the rapids. His body was lost in the turbulent water and was not recovered until three days later.- Actress

Lisa Masters was born in Omaha Nebraska, but grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, where she started her career as a news reporter after graduating from Appalachian State University in Broadcasting with a minor in Modern Dance.
Lisa later moved to New York City to model and attended Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism to earn her Masters Degree while working through Ford Models, but was pulled toward acting after being cast as a reporter in The Siege (1998) , directed by Edward Zwick. Although her scenes were completely edited out of the movie, she nevertheless abandoned her pursuit of news journalism, persevered with her love for acting, and appeared in over 30 TV commercials and in films such as The Stepford Wives (2004) and television series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and Gossip Girl (2007).
Lisa has studied acting with The Barrow Group in New York City with Lee Brock and Seth Barrish, and Improvisation with Gary Austin, the original director of The Groundlings, the sketch comedy theater and springboard for dozens of Saturday Night Live (1975) alums.
Lisa often gets cast as elegant or powerful female characters, as well as quirky comedic roles, appearing in Ugly Betty (2006) , the indie film, Blumenthal (2013), with 'Laila Robins' and the stuttering, awkward lead character role in the off-Broadway comedy, "All In The Timing: The Universal Language" produced at The Connely Theater as a benefit for the Victims of 9/11.- Director

Leonidas Zegarra was born in the Northern Peruvian highland. His family moved to the coast, to the city known as Trujillo, when he was a child, with his parents and several older siblings. He was an excellent student who was bullied by his classmates. He used to go to the movies with his mother, and this is the way he fell in love with the medium. Encouraged by his grandmother and mother, he studied how to make cartoons when he was 9-year-old. At 12, his grandmother gave him a film camera as a gift. His family moved again, this time to Lima, the Peruvian capital, because his brothers wanted to study engineering. For a brief time he studied engineering too, but very soon he realized that his true passion was filmmaking, an impossible dream in Peru in the 1960's. Anyway, at the time, a university located in Lima opened a 3-year program devoted to directing for film and television. His father didn't approved his vocation at all, disagreed with him, and stated that he wouldn't support such a project from a financial perspective . Due to the fact that one of his brothers shared the ownership of a socks factory with his father in Lima, Leonidas Zegarra had his studies financed because this brother understood what the desires of his heart really were. Before following studies in the university, Leonidas Zegarra had already made several shorts and a couple of feature films. These movies were made for an organization devoted to the practice of philosophical doctrines. Because he was considered too young to take the title of "film director," the leaders of the organization attributed to themselves the making of the movies. Finishing his studies in the Universidad de Lima at the end of the year 1970, Leonidas Zegarra had already made a short that he would transform into a full length feature film that would become his first one, officially. "De nuevo a la vida" ('Alive again') was released in 1973. Due to the extreme influence of the political left, mainly of Marxist tendency, Peru was experiencing social convulsions since decades before. New exhibition rules, new taxes, and plain censorship disrupted the destiny of what was being a box-office hit. The Marxists in the area of film criticism as well as in other cultural areas decided that movies like the one made by Leonidas Zegarra would not be tolerated. After several decades, the same "intellectuals" continued their sabotage, writing all kind of nonsense about his films. Since 2010, scholars and artists who belong to a new generation have developed homages and curatorial activities intended to preserve Mr. Zegarra's artwork. His movies are being analyzed from theoretical perspectives different than the Marxist one, showing how they express a lively Weltanschauung. Also, a Leonidas Zegarra Museum (in Spanish "Casa Museo Leonidas Zegarra") is under development.- Actor

Mexican actor and tenor, briefly slated to become a Ramon Novarro -style latin lover in early Hollywood sound films. Mojica initially planned for a career in engineering, but changed his mind and studied singing at the National Conservatory of Music. Funded by his mother, he went to New York with $500 in his pocket, attending performances of Enrico Caruso. Caruso, having met Mojica, was sufficiently impressed by his singing to help him obtain a contract with the Chicago Civic Opera Company, where was soon given leads opposite Mary Garden and Amelita Galli-Curci. Signed by Fox in 1930, he moved to California and appeared as a Spanish outlaw in the romantic musical One Mad Kiss (1930), co-starring Argentine actress Mona Maris. Though he lacked neither charm nor a good voice, his popular appeal was limited by a square jaw, a stocky figure and a rather broad nose -- worse, he had a tendency to overact. Fox, as a result, dropped Mojica from their 'A-list' and starred him in a series of Spanish-language romances and adventures for the next three years, often alongside Maris or Rosita Moreno. His characters remained essentially the same, even including a curious impersonation of highwayman Dick Turpin in El caballero de la noche (1932).
Mojica made a few more films in Mexico at the end of the decade. Following the death of his mother and prompted by religious visions, he then took the unusual step of selling his worldly possessions and becoming a Franciscan monk under the name Fray Jose de Guadalupe Mojica. He spent the remainder of his life in seminaries and monasteries in Peru, where he died in September 1974 at the age of 78.- Actor
